What to Wear & Bring

Wear whatever you feel comfortable moving in! Clothes that stretch are always ideal. We have a CLEAN SHOE POLICY. Please do not wear your street shoes beyond the entryway, and bring a pair of clean sneakers for your workout.

Bring a water bottle. We have reverse osmosis water available onsite, but we do not provide disposable cups.

Getting here

Human Movement Lab is located in Suite 1B inside the 98 Business Street Building.

By Car:

There is a free parking lot immediately outside the building, please do not park behind the black metal gate. If the lot is full, there is ample street parking.

By MBTA:

Commuter Rail—HML is .2 miles from the Hyde Park commuter rail stop (Franklin/Foxboro Line, or the Providence/Stoughton Line)

Bus—HML is .2 miles from several stops along the 32 Bus Route.

Accessibility

There is a ramp to get into the front door, and the accessible unit is immediately to the left once you enter the building.

While our sprung floor floats 2.5" above the floor height at entrance level, there is a 43" wide rubber ramp at the appropriate grade to get those with mobility devices onto the floor.

Bathrooms:
There is currently no wheelchair accessible bathroom. There is a first floor shared bathroom that is on the same level as HML, but it doesn't have the required width or 60" of turning space.

Amplification & Noise:
Instructors for fitness activities are not amplified at this time, and often talk over music. The soundproofing in the space is not great, and sounds from our neighbors can be audible.
